Will I lose my subscriber data when migrating to MailerLite?
When you migrate to MailerLite, you won’t lose any subscriber emails or contact information such as their name and address. I make a copy of your existing subscribers which doesn’t affect your current subscriber list.
You are responsible for cancelling the subscription for your old email marketing platform when the migration is done.
Will my existing email campaigns and templates be compatible with MailerLite?
New templates would be created based on any you already have setup and campaigns or automation emails would be based on this new MailerLite template.
However, it’s important to note that statistics related to your email campaigns, such as open and click-through rates, cannot be migrated as they are specific to the platform where they were originally generated.
How easy is it to learn and use MailerLite?
They have a good tutorial section on their website AND when booking a MailerLite Migration with me, you’ll get a copy of a MailerLite course I’ve written to get you learning fast.
You can work through the course from the beginning to end or jump to specific parts.
How long does the migration process typically take?
A more complex migration involving automations, conditions and segmentation could take a day or more.
One thing to keep in mind, the only thing that can actually be migrated over without re-creating are the subscribers. Each platform has their own proprietary systems, so email templates, campaigns, opt-in forms, automations, welcome sequences all have to be re-created from scratch.
Can MailerLite integrate with my current website and other platforms?
MailerLite has many different types of integrations, such as WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Squarespace and hundreds more. You can get a list of all the current integrations here. (will open in a separate browser window)
What level of support do you provide after the migration is finished?
I provide 30 days of support for anything related to the migration and questions you have or things you’re trying to do that aren’t covered in the MailerLite course you’re given as a bonus.
